“If you feed or nurse an infant during takeoff and initial descent, assistance using the ear discomfort,” states Claire McCarthy, M.D., a doctor at Boston Children’s Hospital. The sucking action can neutralize ear pressure and calm—so pacifiers, bottles, along with other sucking toys work, too. Draw attention away from With Toys
Babies can affiliate calmness with movement, states Dr. Grow. Improve your scenery when walking the aisles together with your child and their favorite toys or stuffed creatures. “The more you can preserve your child’s attention for you as well as on stuff that are interesting or fun, the not as likely they’re to weep,” states Dr. McCarthy.
Plan Flights Around Nap Time

Know Your Meds
