But there’s more. Because caregivers need care themselves, the nurse likewise helps the moms, ensuring they’ve water and food, that they’re resting, which there’s clean laundry. Should there be other children in the household, she will help take care of them. She will look for groceries which help parents navigate any land mines that appear, from lactation problems to postpartum depression or anemia, assisting families to find any outdoors services they require. This particular service was once covered entirely through the government it now costs families €4.30 ($5.31 USD) an hour or so, with the remainder included in medical health insurance.

- Mrs. Gazelle Fox: I was treated better in the orphanage in Bulgaria than these older ladies in the nursing home. All nursing homes needs to be shut down and banned!!!!
- Anne Johnson: My mother is 85 even had heart surgery 5 years ago but she takes care of herself. She does her own cooking, cleaning, drives, laundry etc. Her 100 year old sister took care of herself and never needed a nurse and have always said, as long as she is able to take care of herself, that's what she wants to do. I pray I continue to be in good health and when I become elderly, have someone I know move in with me.
- Harsimran Singh: What about their OWN kids? Where are they at?
- Erika Ruiz: Oh my God why is this demons in this field if thry dnt have the heart!??????????
- Irene Nabitaka: Low wages is the reason you are under staffed. Increase it so you attract new nurses. Remember, it is a dirty job which requires a good pay.
- Christina Alexander: This is a different time then 50-60 years ago when just the husband worked and family had more children etc so they had someone who could take care of grandma and grandpa etc. Times have changed. Women are going to work , divorce rate is extremely high as there are way more single parents these days then there were 50-60 years ago. People are having less children and it is so expensive to live ( own home , food , utilities , very expensive healthcare and pension plans are dropping forcing people to work longer just to survive. Many people can’t afford to stay home and take care of an elderly that needs 24 hour care. Nursing homes are needed but those workers are so under paid , under staffed etc and being around patients with dementia etc is an extremely stressful job. This is such a sad situation because this can happen to any of us. This is so awful to watch and hopefully videos like this wake people up . These nursing facilities need help
- Mike Workman: This happens in hospitals to if you don't have family around.
- The Dutchess of Dragonshyre: Sad sad i go into to several of these places in U.S. i see so much. The BS that it is…is that these places are expensive they dont have enough staffing and quality aids and nurses. Real sick. I see so much crap but when you call and report it the state really doesn't do anything. Administration wants money thats all they care about not the patients and it shows. Sick sick sick.
- G Lynn: WHY JUST FIRED ??? AND NOT INCARCERATED !??????!?!?!!??????
- The depressed Commie: man i thought canada was peacefull
